The face of the protagonist of Silent Hill Remake 2 has been redesigned

A new screenshot of Silent Hill 2 Remake has been uploaded to the Steam servers, showing the changed face of James Sunderland.

Among the latest game news, we learned that Konami has uploaded a new image of Silent Hill 2 Remake to the Steam servers, which shows the redesign of James Sunderland's face by Bloober Team. This image shows the younger face of the game hero compared to the previous trailer, which is more like the original version of this character. James Sunderland's face in the previous trailer was different from the original character design and looked older and more tired.

Some time ago, Jeff Grubb claimed on the Bombcast podcast that Sony is planning to hold a PlayStation-related event in May 2024, and that the Silent Hill 2 remake will be showcased at the event. Silent Hill 2 Remake has so far been rated in North America and South Korea. Considering that the age classification of games is usually done in the final stages of development and close to the time of release, apparently we should not wait a long time for the release of this game.

The latest trailer for Silent Hill 2 Remake was met with negative reactions from some fans who criticized the game's excessive focus on combat. Piotr Babineau , CEO of Bloober Team, stated that the recent trailer of Silent Hill 2 Remake does not show the quality of the original game and that Konami is responsible for marketing the game. This game is under development for PlayStation 5 and PC and will be launched in 2024 at an unknown time.
