The sales statistics of Monster Hunter games have been updated

Capcom has updated the list of platinum titles and presented new sales figures for Monster Hunter games.

As reported by Gamingbolt media , Capcom has updated the list of "Platinum Works" and presented new statistics of sales of Monster Hunter games until September 30, 2024. Platinum titles include games that have sold more than one million copies.

Monster Hunter World has sold another 700,000 copies in the last quarter, bringing the game's total sales to 27 million. Monster Hunter World Master Edition sales are also included in this statistic, which includes the base game and the Iceborne expansion pack. Currently, the sales of the add-on package of Iceborne has reached 14 million copies, which has increased by 600,000 copies compared to the previous quarter.

Capcom announced that Monster Hunter Rise has sold 16 million copies worldwide. This role-playing action game had already sold 15.4 million copies; Therefore, another 600,000 copies have been sold in the last quarter. The Sunbreak add-on package also managed to sell another 400,000 copies, bringing the total sales of this additional content to over 8.8 million copies.

The total sales of Monster Hunter series have reached 105 thousand copies with an increase of two million copies compared to the previous quarter. Monster Hunter Wilds game on February 28, 2025 for Xbox Series X | Xbox Series S, PlayStation 5 and PC will be released.
