Resident Evil 7 also surpassed Resident Evil 6 by selling 13.8 million copies and became the third best-selling game in the series.

Resident Evil Village is still going strong. This survival horror game has sold 10.5 million copies worldwide since its release in 2021. Sales of Resident Evil Village had reached 10.1 million copies at the beginning of the year; Therefore, it has sold another 400,000 copies in the last quarter.
